After scrounging around in the garage, I came across a gallon of brown exterior paint. Not wanting to spend any money unnecessarily, I decided that brown, while not the happy, cheery color I wanted, would work fine.
So, I set to work. My project took three days longer than I had planned, due to the never-ending rain. But, eventually, success was mine.
Here are my before pictures:

Nice job!! It 'does' look more cheery and inviting!! :-)

ReplyDeleteHi Darlene my back garden is a mess due to my two wee boys running amok everyday, are you free during July?? I could use your help...please...help!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference it makes having everything uniform. It completely alters ones perception...the 'before' looked quite busy. The 'after' has a noticeably calming effect...and I really DO like what you've achieved! Your garden looks really lovely...please take us on a tour! :)
ReplyDeleteI cant get enough of plants! I would love to have all of those!

How fun!
ReplyDeleteI have a few things around my house that could use some sprucing up. You know you want to take a trip to Cali. :-)
It does look cool to have them all matching but being the lazy person that I am, I doubt I would ever make all of mine match. Although all those Topsy Turvy planters I have hanging match. Well okay, the two that I planted match. The ones still in their box do match those hanging. And since most of my plants are still in their containers from the store, they match too.
ReplyDeleteBig sigh.
Well you are kinda making me want to do some work but then again tomorrow is going to be almost 100 degrees and so I know it is not going to happen. Yup, those plants are lucky hubby waters them before he leaves to go to work because I am not going outside unless I have to. Just too damn hot to leave from the 75 degrees in the house.
So I guess I will just enjoy your pics, which are great by the way. Froggy is so cute.
God bless.
