Project 52
I haven't updated for a week or two, so you can be sure that this will be a fascinating post. Are you breathlessly waiting to hear what I've been up to?
Let's just start at #1 - Lose 15 pounds by March. I'm not quite there, yet. Close, but not close enough to cross off. I didn't really say which March, did I? Of course, I was planning for 2011, but, it could quite possibly be March 2012. Hopefully, no later! Yes, I know the official #1 is "Lose 30 pounds". That's all I'm sayin'.
#5 - get 200 followers. I'm close, very close. I'm hosting a Giveaway for this great eye mask.
The date for the drawing is when I reach 205 followers, OR June 15, whichever comes first. Amazing Daughter said, I'd better set a date, or it could drag on for-ev-er! (Please prove her wrong! Do I sound desperate? I might be.) Please check it out!
I've also been working on the very exciting project of making an inventory of my freezer contents. (#34) I've done the small freezer, now I have to work on the larger one. If I wait until it gets really hot outside, which is where the freezer is - in the garage - then I won't get so cold!
Moving on...
#35 - Drink more water. I have decided that I drink enough water. Too much water equals too much running to you-know-where. And, yes, it does require running!
#39 - I'm crossing off "Spring Clean the living room". That translates to: I cleaned the carpet.

For once, you haven't made me feel too guilty about all the many things I need to be tackling. Since your previous post, I've been doing some intermittent 'spring-cleaning' (even though it's mid-winter!), so I'm feeling more virtuous :)

ReplyDeleteThese are the ones on your list I'm going to ignore: #1,2,6,7,8,9,10,11,16,18,21,22,24,30 (My hubby does the garden! LOL),31(we don't have a basement LOL),32,36,44(don't celebrate it),46 (have no sweetie pie! Child I'm assuming. LOL),48,49,52
These are the ones I'm already doing pretty well: #3,4,5,12,13,14,15,17,19,20,23,25,26,27,28,29,33,34,35,37-42,43,45,47,50,51
I have some things on my own list....but nothing I need to stress over. I'm me! I take it as it comes! :-)
ah losing the weight! That is the hardest thing! I am still trying...I say that As I think of a marble cake in the fridge....I am in trouble! Blessings, Joanne

Hi Darlene, how nice to meet you. Thanks for following my blog! For a new blogger, you have tons of followers! And rightly so, your writing is delightful and funny!!! I read the squirrel post with great interest, and showed the video to Phil. Because we just got one of those feeders! Ours is very much the same, only kind of rounded. It was tested and guaranteed to work, and so far it does!! But the squirrel opened the door to the suet feeder and carried the suet block away! I am working on a post for that as soon as I catch him at it and snap him!

ReplyDeleteHehe. You are too funny Darlene. Well, I'm with ya on the first one. I lost the 15, then gave up. I also gave up drinking a lot of water because I got tired of running to the bathroom all the time. Retaining water isn't as bad as you think. LOL!

I'm sure the pounds will drop off you during the summer months, I use swimming to keep fit it's enjoyable aswell as good exercise.
