R is for Roads - (Repost with pictures)

During the A-Z Blogging Challenge, I had an embarrassing moment. I tried (in vain) to repost an email I had received. It had some amazing photos of "Beautiful and Awesome Roads". (And, might I add Scarey!!)

I was trying to impress My Amazing Daughter by doing all the technological stuff all by myself. I thought I was successful since I had to re-size every picture to fit on my blog page. I was pretty proud of myself, and patting myself on my back.

Then I got a message from Daughter, "Ummm, MOTH-ER, none of your pictures are showing up. You tried to do something without me, didn't you?"

I was filled with dismay, embarrassment, and horror, as comment by comment mentioned that none of the pictures were showing up. Oh, dear.

After a quick tutorial session from my daughter, I think I have fixed the problem.

So, I hope you will now be able to enjoy these photos. (And, since this did arrive through an email, I have no idea who the photographers are. Don't sue me.)

  5. I would've never imagined such diversity in ROADS. But these are beautiful. Some of them I will never travel--major fear of heights.

No need to be embarrassed. We've all had our learning curve with posting pictures; and in turn posted pictures that no one could see. ;)

  7. Now those are gorgeous pictures, well worth the reposting. I, for one am glad that you did! You daughter sound hilarious! No need to be embarrassed however - you would never be able to guess all the things I can't do with a computer. I don't even own a digital camera yet. Oh wait I guess the cell phone my daughter got me has one. Anyway good job!

  9. Most of these are like an average drive though Oregon! That one with the circle above the water looks scary, though. Can you imagine if there was an Earthquake or something? Eek!

  15. Just checking in to see what you were up to.

I sit you are "hitting the road."
Those are amazing pictures. There are a few of those roads I would LOVE to see up close and personal.

As for me, Things are settling down around here but still trying to get used to the noise and clutter two little kids provide.
