A - You're Adorable

The other day, I mentioned to Amazing Daughter with a great sigh, "Oh my, April is coming way too fast."  She looked at me the way daughters look at mothers when they think their mother has completely lost all sense.

"Mom." she said, rather patiently, "It's still February."

"Oh yeah. You're right. Whew! What a relief."

I have once again signed up for the A-Z Blogfest in April. And, almost immediately, I start obsessing about what in the world I will blog about. I had great fun with it last year, and believe it or not, did blog all the way through the alphabet.

This song always comes to my mind. Heehee. This video is very cheesy. Remember Lawrence Welk?? Haha! I was cracking up the entire time. Hope you get a chuckle out of it. And when you finish laughing, click on the A-Z Blog button on the right and join in the fun!

  1. Will also be joining, cannot wait!

  2. I remember the song well. And don't get me started on Lawrence Welk!!! My mom adored him, and I had to watch him all the time growing up. She actually had a picture of him that he signed for her when she was a little girl.

  3. The time does seem to be passing too quickly.

I'm excited for the A to Z Challenge too. Although I haven't even begun to think up topics yet!

  4. I haven't heard that since I was a little girl and my grandma sang it to me lol.

  5. Way back in the early 80's I used to be a Rep for one of those home party companies. Anyway I was a Rep for L.W.'s ex-daughter in law. If you have ever seen her on the show, she is just as beautiful in real life and so nice. You would never know that she had starred on that show for so many years. L.W's grandson Larry Welk, her son, also went on to become one of our helicopter reporters here in the city of L.A. He did not like people to know he was the grandson. He never wanted to cash in on that fame. A really nice kid.

My mom still watches reruns of that show. She would love to see this post. I think you could just post this each week and you will cover most of the alphabet. LOL

    God bless.

  6. Oh I love Lawrence Welk at least I think I did. I used to sit with my Gramma and wished I was with him but popping those cool bubbles:) B
